This Album is for the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company in Olympia, Washington.

The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company (PT&T) had operations in Olympia, Washington, including a building specifically erected for their use, though it later moved to the Fleetwood Building around 1938. PT&T was a subsidiary of AT&T, providing communication services across the US West. In the early 20th century, PT&T expanded into Washington, acquiring the Sunset Telephone Company.

Member Elaine Swan Donated the original photo of the Tulalip Boarding School in
Snohomish County, Washington to the Tulalip Indian Tribe in
Snohomish County. She Donated a copy of this photo to share in Family Treasures Found.
On 23 January 1905, the Tulalip Boarding School opened on the Tulalip Reservation. Operated by the federal government, the school replaces a previous facility run by Catholic missionaries since 1857. The new school will govern education on the reservation with an iron fist until 1932 and be remembered for its callous treatment of children, including many who die under its supervision.
