This Album is for the Family of John "Jack" Letherdale

John "Jack" Letherdale [1860-1949] and his wife, Florence (Ormsby) Letherdale [1869-1949], were Canadians who married there and had one daughter also named Florence born in British Columbia in 1893. John was in the lumber mill business in Fortson, Snohomish Co., WA after a stint gold mining in AK. His wife managed a hotel in Seattle and they had an 80 acre farm in Fortson. They appear to have gone back and forth between the two residences. Mother and daughter also opened a beauty parlor in Seattle in 1914. Daughter Florence married John Louis "Jack" Williams in 1917 and they later divorced. I found no evidence they had children. She predeceased her parents dying in 1945. Both John & Florence Letherdale died in 1949.
