THIS HAS BEEN RETURNED TO FAMILY
This is a cabinet card photo which has peeled off of the card stock. The photo is creased and the card broken in two. The photo was made by the Runette studio in Denver, Colorado. The reverse side reads: "Luella Tonner Corbin, 1906." This photo came with a typed description of who this lady was. The description comes from the University of Denver, Penrose Library, and reads as follows: "Luella Corbin lived in Denver from 1893 until 1943. She and her widowed mother, Mary K. Corbin shared a home at 351 Acoma Street, until her mother's death in 1934. Corbin continued to occupy the house until 1943, when poor health forced her to move to Santa Barbara, California to live with a cousin. She was a graduate of the University of Colorado and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution." Further research shows that Miss Corbin was born in Illinois on 28 Dec 1884, and died 20 May 1946 in Santa Barbara, California.
